Check out these new images of two cards which will be included in packs of 2009 Topps Updates & Highlights.
While there is no further information available through Topps’ brand spankin’ new Twitter account, there is just something wrong with any card featuring Manny Ramirez and the word “Victory” on it.
You can find a preview of ’09 Updates & Highlights HERE.

Hooray – an insert that’s something different. Being a big fan of WWII-era propaganda posters, I’m looking forward to these already.
the lincecum is amazing
Maybe there should be an asterisk next to ‘Victory’ or something, I dunno.
Personally I’d prefer to have one of these hanging on my wall instead of in a binder/box/stack, they just look so cool. U&H is looking pretty good right now for me. This will be an awesome insert set, and I finally get another Reid Brignac card for my PC to put on top of the stack and displace that horrid Spring Training photo from his Series 1 card.
we caught another roid user, VICTORY!!
those are very cool cards, I cant believe with all the old school copycat sets that nothing this awesome has been done yet.
Did Topps plagiarize that fellas’ artwork? Unfortunately, his name eludes me, but the man creates artwork that includes propaganda statements like the ones used on those cards…
Here we go: http://www.sportspropaganda.com/
Well, not a big fan but I gotta say they are different.
I sure hope Chris over at http://www.sportspropaganda.com did those for Topps….otherwise they look like a blatant ripoff.
If you haven’t been to his site, check it out….his prints are really cool. I have one myself and love it.
On a side note… if the person who emailed me about the Topps Twitter page is reading, sorry I did not respond. I accidentally deleted your mail.
Stalegum was previewing this a few days back and it is awesome. I’m really happy bout this because this shows that there is life after the auto gamer and the emphasis is on really really great design. Thanks for the link mario. Cant wait for this one to come out
Too bad the artist is clearly a Boston fan. The posters look good regardless. Glad he’s doing more than just Red Sox prints now.
